Saturday 7th July 2012, 10am - 4pm: I will be running a Painting With Coloured Pencils workshop at the Workhouse Museum, Allhallowgate, Ripon, North Yorkshire. Cost is £45 including lunch and refreshments (£80 for both days). All materials provided. Suitable for beginners or those with some experience of the medium. You will learn all the techniques needed to produce realistic and detailed pictures, using artists' quality materials. Please contact me to book a place.
Sunday 8th July 2012, 10am - 4pm: I will be running a Realistic Portraits in Coloured Pencils workshop at the Workhouse Museum, Allhallowgate, Ripon, North Yorkshire. Cost is £45 including lunch and refreshments (£80 for both days). All materials provided. Suitable for those who know the basic techniques of using coloured pencils, and we will build on these to learn how to produce accurate and lifelike portraits. Please contact me to book a place.
28th April - 26th May: My painting Ralph the Deerhound is on show at the 10th World of Coloured Pencil exhibition at the Cumberland Pencil Museum, Keswick.
September 2011: I am now a signature member of the UKCPS having had pictures accepted for their last three annual international exhibitions. This entitles me to use the designation "UKCPS".
I have had two pictures accepted for the 10th UKCPS Open International Exhibition to be held in Methodist Central Hall, Westminster, London, SW1H 9NH, from Monday 19th September to Saturday 1st October. Opening times are Monday to Saturday 9.00am to 5.00pm and Sundays 12 noon to 5pm. Throughout the event there will be workshops which have been billed as "the best coloured pencil workshops available in Europe", demonstrations, a silent auction, have-a-go sessions and a children's trail. Tuesday 31st May - Wednesday 1st June 2011: I will be taking part in HeArts Heritage Arts Festival at Ripon Workhouse Museum. Many traditional arts and crafts are being demonstrated, including blacksmithing, quilting, spinning and coracle making and I will be showing some of my coloured pencil work as well as demonstrating. The festival runs from 30th May to 1st June from 10am - 4pm.
I will be holding my first solo exhibition FACES in The Loft at Great Northern Wine, The Warehouse, Blossomgate, Ripon from 17th March until 17th May 2011, comprising around two dozen pictures in various media, all for sale.
Meet the Artist: I will be there on Saturday 19th March from 6pm until late and would love to see you there. Guess the award-winning picture and I'll treat you to a glass of wine!

28th - 30th October: Tenth Anniversary Art Exhibition in aid of St Gemma's Hospice to be held at The Grammar School at Leeds, Alwoodley, LS17 8GS. 8th October 2010, 10am - 4pm: I will be running a Painting with Coloured Pencils workshop at The Workhouse Museum, Allhallowgate, Ripon, North Yorkshire. August 2010: Two of my pictures, Her First Oyster and Autumn Wood, have been selected for the 9th UKCPS Annual International Open Exhibition. The exhibition runs from 13th September to 1st October 2010 at the Stamford Arts Centre, Stamford, Lincolnshire.
May 2010: Harrogate and Nidderdale Art Club annual exhibition. Won the Ackrill Trophy, awarded by Club patron, Sir Thomas Ingilby of Ripley Castle.
